Salary: £22- 23 per hour + Van +Fuel

Are you an experienced Disrepair Supervisor looking for your next challenge in the social housing sector? We are working with a leading housing provider to recruit a skilled professional who can take ownership of disrepair cases, ensuring excellent service delivery and compliance.

The Role:

As a Disrepair Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing disrepair claims, ensuring that repairs are completed to a high standard while maintaining cost efficiency and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve disrepair issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee disrepair claims from inception to completion.

• Conduct inspections and surveys to assess the extent of disrepair.

• Ensure remedial works are carried out promptly and to the required standard.

• Liaise with legal teams, contractors, and surveyors to manage cases effectively.

• Monitor budgets and costs, ensuring value for money and compliance with regulations.

• Provide technical support and guidance to the repairs team.

• Maintain strong communication with residents to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Disrepair Supervisor, Repairs Manager, or a similar role in social housing.

• Strong knowledge of housing disrepair legislation and compliance.

• Ability to conduct property inspections and compile detailed reports.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience managing contractors and ensuring high-quality repairs.

• Proficiency in IT systems and reporting software.

• Full UK driving license (desirable).
