Job Title: Firestoppers

Location: Leicester

Start Date: Immediate- starting Monday 8th July

Ongoing work- Monday- Friday 7:30- 4:30.

Job Description:

As a Firestopper, you will play a critical role in our project, focusing on Batt and Mastic work to ensure fire safety compliance. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining fire-resistant systems and materials, ensuring the safety and integrity of the building, which will be a police station.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing Batt and Mastic firestopping work to the highest standards.
• Installing fire-resistant materials and systems in accordance with project specifications.
• Ensuring all work complies with fire safety regulations and building codes.
• Inspecting and maintaining firestopping systems.
• Collaborating with project managers and other tradesmen to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Firestopper, particularly with Batt and Mastic applications.
• Level 2 qualification in Firestopping.
• Blue CSCS card.
• Own tools and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and building codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
