Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a social housing company in the London area
who are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
They are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team, to
maintain a safe, compliant, and supportive environment for our employees, contractors,
and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct risk assessments and safety audits across various sites to identify
potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
* Provide advice and guidance on health and safety best practices and legal
requirements.
* Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures to
ensure they meet current regulations.
* Investigate accidents and incidents, ensuring that root causes are identified, and
corrective actions are taken.
* Deliver health and safety training programs to staff and contractors.
* Keep up-to-date with changes in health and safety legislation and industry best
practices.
* Prepare and maintain health and safety reports and documentation.
* Support in the preparation of safety and emergency response plans.
* Promote and encourage a positive health and safety culture across the business.

Key Knowledge:

• Proven experience in a health and safety advisory role, ideally in social housing
• A NEBOSH National Diploma or General/ Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
• Technical or graduate membership of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (IOSH).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• A track record of delivering results in fast-paced, challenging environments.
