We are currently seeking an experienced Shot Blaster to join a refurbishment project in Richmond on a temporary basis. This role involves shot blasting steel components to prepare them for repainting and refinishing.

Job Details:

• Location: Richmond
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Temporary contract
• Pay: Negotiable, depending on experience
• Hours: Full-time, with potential overtime available
• Project: Working on a refurbishment job, preparing steel surfaces by removing rust, paint, and other contaminants using shot blasting techniques

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate shot blasting equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare steel surfaces for coating and painting
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in shot blasting (essential)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality work
