Recruitment for a construction project director serving a £50m mixed tenure development
The Client
A privately owned design, build, maintain and operate construction group headquartered in the Northwest.
The Challenge
The client needed to recruit an experienced project director to lead a three-phase multi-generational development consisting of retirement apartments, a care home and supported living bungalows.
The project was significant for the client as it was their first self-funded multiphase development. Taking place in Kent, a region new to them, meant the client faced an additional challenge of not having access to their usual candidate pool.
The Solution
We strategically headhunted candidates and collated a shortlist of three highly experienced candidates, each with relevant expertise in large-scale developments. We presented the client with detailed CVs and tailored references to ensure they understood each candidate's fit for the project.
The Result
After coordinating interviews near the project site in Kent and at the client's HQ in the Northwest, an experienced project director was hired. Our dedicated approach to construction recruitment and proper management of the entire process - from interviews to handling the offer and counter-offer - provided a seamless experience for all parties involved.
