We’ve been featured yet again on the Recruiter Hot 100, raising our ranking to 35th.

Researched by independent finance advisory firm, Gambit Corporate Finance, the annual listing compares the efficiency of the top UK-controlled recruitment agencies, recognising those with a clear and successful direction. With a quarter of featured businesses backed by private equity, we are proud to rank as an Employee Owned Trust as well. 

This year’s list is evidence of resilience from consistently reliable and efficient agencies. With fewer new entries into the Hot 100 than last year, it shows that providing a reliable and knowledgeable service to candidates and clients should be a priority and that it directly links to success.

For the Built Environment, anyone in the sector knows the challenges of the last 18 months; the market uncertainty, a change of government, stalled projects reducing hiring, and a new budget that has shaken up the industry.

So, for Daniel Owen, remaining stable and reliable for candidates and clients during this period has required a lot of hard work from our specialist teams and operational staff. Keeping ourselves agile and open to changing conditions has allowed us to pivot quickly to client requirements and ensure our candidates can still find reliable work with stable businesses.

2025 is set to be a strong year. Significant government commitments have been made to build 1.5 million new homes, lift bans on onshore wind projects, and create a task force to accelerate stalled housing sites and developments—and DO is more than ready.
