Last Friday marked the kick-off of Euro 2024, an event that promises thrilling football while serving as a platform for a greater cause. Across the nation, teams at Daniel Owen came together to support the Salvation Army’s inspiring Goals for Good campaign while proudly sporting their football tops at work.
The concept was simple yet powerful: each participant donated £2 to the Salvation Army, raising funds to combat homelessness throughout the UK. This initiative comes at a crucial time when more families and individuals are facing the harsh realities of rough sleeping, sofa surfing, and inadequate emergency housing.
As we look ahead, let’s continue supporting initiatives like Goals for Good and use our love for football to create positive societal change.
Our donation page is still live, and we are almost halfway to our target, so please donate if you can.
