Daniel Owen Ltd Regional Director, Kevin Tull, visited West Berkshire Homeless last night. Situated at the Salvation Army in Newbury he spent a couple of hours witnessing the amazing work this charity does to assist the homeless back into a home; helping people get an ID, an address and the correct paperwork to enable them to enter the workplace and become self-sufficient. West Berkshire Homeless is a community based charity with an aim of zero tolerance to homelessness within the location they work and assistance into work.
As a recruitment company Daniel Owen Ltd are getting involved to provide career and CV writing advice. Where possible we will register those looking for construction work and endeavour to find work; where other work is being sought we can point people in the right direction. With that in mind Kevin met with 6 people, 3 looking for labouring work in the West Berkshire area and another looking for administrative work.
We are excited to get involved and help over the coming months.
