Taking Risks and Engineering Your Success: A Conversation with Sue Kershaw

Caitlin Tye

By Caitlin Tye

In a recent GSC Executives Podcast episode, Caitlin Tye interviewed Sue Kershaw, Senior Vice President at AECOM, discussing the power of embracing challenges, taking risks, and promoting workplace diversity.

Starting as a civil engineer at Trawsfynydd Power Station, Sue quickly developed a passion for transport projects, like the Canary Wharf Jubilee Line station. To date her standout achievements include leading the transport solutions for the London 2012 Olympics and completing the Paddington station for the Elizabeth Line, both huge projects involving direction on many different aspects of engineering.

It was a pleasure to talk about Sue's experiences and really dig deep into the success that came from her technical skills, bold decisions, and commitment to diversity & inclusion.
